Shortly after, we will ask you to fill out the Casting Form and purchase the Rehearsal Package as early as possible so we can start choreographing your personalized recital piece. AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MINUTES or so…

Students of the Ruby Karen Project Aerial Performing Arts and its Apprentice performance team, the Orange County Aerial Arts will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary Spring production featuring a glimpse of cultural  performance across the globe commencing in London.  This production is based on the 1956 movie debut, “Around the World in 80 Days and multiple versions of this classic film.

We invite you to come and enjoy an afternoon of beautiful and colorful performances which will include circus aerial and dance acts.

Performance Date:   April 1, 2023 @ 3:30pm

Location:  Aerial Dance Theater, 3001 Red Hill Avenue 1-107, Costa Mesa, CA 92626

Catch our very own students as they portray a variety of culturally related themed roles in this aerial theatrical production.
About this Show: Callie Geoff, an inventor, living in Victorian Britain and her loyal protégé, Evyn Gordon accepts a challenge to travel around the world with restrictive conditions set forth by her professional adversary, Landon Evans, the current director of the London Academy of Science.  As a reward, Landon will surrender his position for Callie, if she successfully accomplishes the mission. Utilizing a variety of transportation means and all skills by Callie and his team, they embark on a globe-spanning adventure.
This production will showcase a variety of star-studded aerial acrobats from our very own members of the Orange County Aerial Arts performing team and the students of the Ruby Karen Project

MOVEMENT and INTERPRETATION WORKSHOP

Aerial Arts America in cooperation with the Ruby Karen Project are hosting this one of a kind workshop that will provide some insights and techniques in capturing the attention of your viewers.

Movement interpretation Workshop – 1

Conducted by professionals in the field of performing arts and theater production, Ruby Karen and Nahuel Broin join forces to provide a specialized workshop geared towards aerial performers who want to boost their performance skills from a different standpoint that is overlooked and overshadowed by the world of competing aerial elements.

In this workshop, you will learn to study the music you chose or the theme you want to portray to our audience. You will learn the stages of approaching your training to focus on your objective and to translate it to where the audience can clearly receive and understand your message.

This workshop is for artists (aerialists and dancers) who have performed at least once and has 1 year training experience in the field they are focused on.

 

About Nahuel Broin: His career has taken him across the world where he has worked as an aerial both an acrobatic performer and a teacher of aerial, dance, and acrobatics in many arenas.   • 4 Technique Aerial Classes within 30 days after 1st use.
